Many small units around Bawal avoid websites because they imagine some big IT project. In reality, a basic but solid website with five or six sections is more than enough for a small plant.
Think of it as the digital version of your first factory visit.
Home: Your 10‑Second Introduction
The home page is like a quick handshake.
In two or three lines, say:
- What your company does
- Where you are located
- Since when you are operating
For example: “We are a small machining and fabrication unit based in IMT Bawal, manufacturing brackets and turned components for automotive and engineering customers since 2016.”
Add one outside photo and one inside shot. Nothing more is needed at this stage.
About: Your Short Story
On the About page, tell your story in your own style.
Mention when you started, why you started, and how the unit has grown. A simple line like “We began with 2 machines and now run 10+ machines in two shifts” already gives a clear picture.
You can also add a small note about the founder’s background – previous experience, technical education, or family business history.
Products: Show What You Actually Make
Even if you make many items, start with your main categories.
For each category, add:
- 2–3 lines describing what you make
- The general size range or type
- 2–3 clear photos
For example: “We manufacture pressed brackets for two‑wheeler and three‑wheeler applications, in thickness range 2 mm to 6 mm, with powder coated or plated finish as per requirement.”
That is enough for a buyer to know if they should talk further.
Infrastructure and Quality: Prove You Can Deliver
On the infrastructure page, write about your land, built‑up area and main machines. Group them simply: “3 power presses (40–100T), 2 CNC lathes, 1 VMC, 1 surface grinder.”
Add a few photos that show a clean, organised shop.
On quality, mention any ISO or other certificates. If you don’t have them yet, talk about your basic checking process and show pictures of gauges, vernier callipers, height gauges or other instruments you use regularly.
Contact: Make It Easy to Reach You
The contact page should be very clear.
Include:
- Full address with HSIIDC sector / village
- Mobile and landline numbers
- Email IDs that are checked
- A simple map link
Many buyers first want to see how far you are from the main highway or city. A map and clear address answer that instantly.
Once this simple structure is live, your small manufacturing unit already looks much more professional online. You can always add more pages later, but this basic layout is enough for a clean start.
